In 2025 water companies will kick off their biggest ever investment programme, with more than £100 billion being spent up until 2030.

Delivering this investment as effectively and as efficiently as possible will require innovation and fresh ways of working. And this is exactly what we are celebrating with the Water Industry Awards 2025.

The 2025 scheme sees a refresh of the categories and criteria to reflect the challenges facing the modern water company and their supply chain partners.

We are excited to introduce a new award for the best employer in the water sector, recognising the importance of recruiting and retaining talent. We are also celebrating the important role the water sector plays in a circular economy, while for the first time we have a category devoted to the great work done by New Appointment and Variations (NAV) companies.

They join other new and returning categories celebrating the frontline innovation and the critically important collaboration between water companies and their partners in the supply chain. The awards highlight the very best practice in the water sector, and we’re proud to attract a mix of entries from the big companies leading the way to the smallest disruptors breaking into the market.

Our judges will once again be on the lookout for projects, teams, and individuals proving they have gone beyond regulatory requirements to find creative solutions to the challenges facing the sector, demonstrating real benefits not just for the water network but for customers and the environment.
